Mike Gundy: ‘Hell, everyone on the team is wide open’

With Oklahoma State opening up a big lead early, its head coach is not wrong.

No. 19 Oklahoma State is up in Ames, facing Iowa State. Iowa State just gave up 71 points to Baylor, which means Iowa State’s secondary might not be very good. And, wait, late-breaking news: Iowa State’s secondary is indeed not very good.

Here’s Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy discussing the situation with his team:

What really makes this worth mentioning is the score subtly sliding into the discussion, like “yes indeed, the Cowboys opened up a three-touchdown lead in under 10 minutes.”

As for Iowa State, that’s 92 points allowed in 69:15 of game time, which is bad, but there is good news: fans don’t have to worry about spending money on costly bowl game travel packages this year!
