Gurley was first injured during the Bulldogs’ 44-41 win over LSU and has missed the last three games, which have included two losses.
The sophomore is still the team’s leading rusher on the year, carrying the ball 71 times for 450 yards and four scores in just four games played. Last year, he scored 17 touchdowns on the ground in a truly impressive true freshman campaign.
After suffering a rash of injuries to skill position players earlier in the year, the Bulldogs are beginning to recover, while the Gators continue to deal with injuries. Star tackle D.J. Humphries will miss the game with an injury, adding to the list of Florida’s walking wounded.
