Update: Sarkisian isn’t backing down, per se.
Washington coach Steve Sarkisian accuses Stanford of faking injuries
The head coach appears to be frustrated after the Huskies’ close road loss.

Sark on Stanford’s "injuries": "We saw what we saw. I’ll leave it at that."

Washington lost a tight game on the road to Stanford, falling to the Cardinal 31-28 in a game that came down to the final minutes.
Multiple Stanford defenders went down with injuries in the second half, but Husky head coach Steve Sarkisian said after the game that he thought the Cardinal were faking it in order to slow down the prolific Washington offense, according to the Seattle Times’ Adam Jude.
“Their defensive-line coach (ex-UW assistant Randy Hart) was telling them to sit down,” Sarkisian told KJR afterward. “I guess that’s how we play here at Stanford, so we’ll have to prepare for that next time. At some point, we’ll get repaid for it. That never serves a purpose for us, and we’ll never do that.”
One of the apparently injured players was star linebacker Shayne Skov, who took to Twitter to respond to the allegations.
We got the dub, UW is a hell of a team period. If I'm having docs look at me on the sideline I'm not faking it. Grow up, n watch the replay

Defensive lineman Ben Gardner also tweeted about the remarks.
If sark thinks coach hart would tell us 2 fake injuries he's obviously never been around the guy. If anything he's telling us to get up n go

The Huskies were able to bring the game within three on a Keith Price touchdown pass with less than three minutes to go, and had another chance with 1:51 on the clock to either take the lead or tie it up. After a first down brought Washington into Stanford territory, Price missed on four straight passes -- including one that was originally called a first down but was reversed on review.
