Bill Snyder jokes about how to shut down Baylor’s offense

The Kansas State head coach jokes about the tough upcoming matchup for his school.

Scott Sewell-USA TODAY Sports

Baylor has been fairly unstoppable this season, scoring at least 69 points in each of their first four games (and at least 70 points against each FBS opponent they’ve played). Their first three games were against not-too-impressive competition -- Wofford, Buffalo, Louisiana-Monroe -- and many wondered how they would fare in conference play. They answered that question with 73 points against a tough West Virginia defense and have now caught national attention.

Among those who have noticed is Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder, whose team hosts Baylor this week. The coach spoke about the Bears at length during the Big 12’s conference call Monday.

The Bears are tops in the nation with 70.5 points per game and rank 14th in points against, allowing just 14.3 per game. Kansas State’s defense has had a good season, but gave up a season-high 33 points to Oklahoma State last week.

You can check out highlights of Baylor’s huge win over West Virginia here, including a rundown of the various records they set.
