How to watch Michigan State vs. Nebraska 2013: Preview, TV schedule, odds and more

Nebraska has had an up-and-down season, with panic bells ringing after a blowout home loss to UCLA and a road loss to Minnesota, but the Cornhuskers are undefeated the rest of the way. Their most impressive wins have been over the past two weeks, against Northwestern and at Michigan, but both of those teams are playing horrible football at the moment.

Michigan State, meanwhile, has allowed a grand total of nine points over their past three games, sporting one of the best defenses in the nation and an ability to simply squeeze the life out of an opponent. The Spartans’ only loss came in non-conference play, to Notre Dame, and they look on track to face the undefeated Ohio State Buckeyes in the Big Ten title game.

Rankings and records: Michigan State is ranked No. 16 in the BCS. The Spartans lead the Legends Division, with the Cornhuskers one game behind. Nebraska holds a 7-0 all-time lead in the series.

Vegas: Michigan State is a 6.5-point favorite.

Weather: High 40s and partly cloudy.

Michigan State has the smallest of outside chances at the BCS title game, but they’d have to win out, beat Ohio State in the Big Ten championship, and get help.

Nebraska still has their sights set on a ten-win season, but need to win out to do so.
