Clowney made a tackle on a Florida running back, and on the way down landed awkwardly on his right foot. He had to be helped off the field slowly with the injury, and his foot was amply taped up by trainers on the sideline, but he did return.

Considered the top prospect in the upcoming NFL draft, a long-term injury for Clowney would be devastating.

After an incredible 23.5-tackle for a loss season last year, Clowney is second on the team with 6.5 tackles for a loss this year.
The defensive end has had foot issues since high school, and has been playing through pain all year.
