2013 NCAA Division II football playoffs bracket, schedule released

The Division II playoff bracket is out, with last year’s champion missing out on the pool of play.

The 2013 D2 football playoffs begin November 23 with eight games, with those winners advancing to play the seeds that have earned byes. The finalists will meet in Florence, AL, on December 21 for the national championship. Last year, Valdosta State downed Winston-Salem State, 35-7, to earn its third title since 2004.

This year, WSSU was declared the CIAA’s representative once Virginia State was disqualified following a fight between players before their matchup.

Super Region 3
