— Jake Trotter (@Jake_Trotter) November 25, 2013 A transfer from Arizona Western, Williams was an All-Big 12 Second Team selection last year, in his first season with Oklahoma. This season, he’s been the Sooners’ second-leading rusher, carrying the ball 114 times for 553 yards and seven touchdowns. He has also caught nine passes for 90 yards.
Last season, he ran 176 times for 946 yards and 11 touchdowns, while also catching the ball 34 times for 320 yards. Oklahoma's leading rusher is Brennan Clay, also a senior, and their third-leading rusher is Roy Finch, another senior. The Sooners utilize a running system that uses quarterbacks on the ground game quite a bit, as Blake Bell and Trevor Knight are both threats.
