Josh Huff injury: Oregon WR suffers hit to head, visibly dizzy

Senior wide receiver opts to stay on sideline after apparent head injury.

Jonathan Ferrey

Oregon wide receiver Josh Huff suffered an injury to his head and neck on a hit in the second half of the Ducks' game against Stanford Thursday. Announcers said Huff "appeared to be dizzy" following the play, and he was removed from the game.

After leaving the field, Huff declined medical attention and opted to stay on the sideline with his teammates. ESPN cameras showed Huff visibly crying on the Ducks sideline.

With six minutes left in the fourth quarter, Huff was finally taken to the locker room for treatment. There has been no further word on his status since that time.

Huff had three catches on the night for a season-low 42 yards. The senior receiver has caught 38 passes this season for 703 yards and six scores.
