In a game featuring two of the country's top running backs, it was Ka'Deem Carey and Arizona that got the best of Andre Williams and Boston College. The Wildcats led from start to finish en route to a 42-19 victory over the Eagles in the AdvoCare V100 Bowl on Tuesday afternoon.

Carey is now Arizona’s all-time leader in all-purpose yards. He finished 2013 with nearly 1,900 rushing yards.

Carey had another big day, running for 100+ yards for the 16th consecutive game, and Arizona’s offense thrived on the strength of his efforts. Arizona finished the day with more than 500 yards of offense, easily outpacing a Boston College offense that didn’t get much from Williams and sputtered as a result.
Carey got the scoring started with a touchdown midway through the first quarter, and after BC answered with a couple of field goals, the Wildcats closed out the first half with two touchdowns, including this grab by Trey Griffey, Ken Griffey Jr.'s son.

Carey picked up his second score early in the third to extend Arizona’s lead to 28-6, and the Wildcats would increase the margin to 42-6 before Williams finally got Boston College into the end zone early in the fourth quarter. Williams closed out his college career with just 75 yards on 26 carries.
In addition to Carey, the Wildcats also got an excellent performance from quarterback B.J. Denker, who threw for 276 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He and receiver Nate Phillips were a difficult tandem for BC to stop -- Phillips finished with an AdvoCare Bowl-record 194 yards receiving.
