It’s very, very cold and icy in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and SMU decided to do a nice thing by making admission free for anybody who wanted to go.
SMU offers free tickets for UCF game, nobody takes them up on it
Guys, it’s cold today.
Not too many people took them up on it, though.
The game is somewhat meaningless for UCF, who have already clinched a BCS berth, but the Mustangs are fighting for bowl eligibility as they’re currently 5-6. Their last two home games had attendance of about 15,000, so, yeah, this isn’t 15,000 people. (Then again: it’s damn cold, so we can’t blame people for not going.)
