The Oregon Ducks are known for pushing the envelope when it comes to fashion, so it's no surprise that they would have a special helmet for their upcoming spring game. However, I'm not sure anyone was anticipating anything... Well, anything like this.
Snow camo Oregon helmets aren’t for spring game, but sure should be
The Oregon Ducks were briefly believed to be wearing a crazy helmet for their spring game.

Update: Rob Moseley says they’re not happening. Life is no longer worth living.
The helmet appears to be a black, white, and gray digital camoflague, which is extremely useful when you want to remain hidden among fields of television static. I’m not sure how useful these helmets would be for stealth maneuvers on green football fields, but at least we can hope new Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich is interested in finding out.
Oregon will play their 2013 spring game on Saturday, April 27, at Autzen Stadium in Eugene. The game is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. Pacific Time, and can be seen on the Pac-12 Network. It will be the first time the public gets a look at the Ducks under Helfrich, who was promoted from offensive coordinator after former head coach Chip Kelly left to become head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles.
