The Alabama Crimson Tide will visit President Barack Obama at the White House on March 6 to celebrate their 2013 BCS championship, the school announced Thursday. It’s the third trip that the Tide will have made to the White House in the last four seasons and also the third time that head coach Nick Saban will have the chance to meet and interact with President Obama in this capacity.

The Crimson Tide are headed back to the White House to celebrate another national championship.

President Obama also will recognize “the efforts by the Crimson Tide to give back to their community,” according to a White House press release.
Alabama finished the season 13-1 overall, its lone loss coming to Texas A&M in November. The Tide were able to rebound from that defeat to win the SEC and then beat Notre Dame decisively in the BCS title game.
The White House ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2:05 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
