It is likely that former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron is about to become the offensive coordinator at LSU, according to Jim Kleinpeter and others. Cameron was fired as Ravens offensive coordinator on Dec. 10, before the team eventually went on to win the Super Bowl.
Cam Cameron reportedly likely next LSU offensive coordinator
The former NFL head coach and coordinator would take over the offense in Baton Rouge just about two months after he was let go by the Baltimore Ravens.

Cameron would replace Greg Studrawa as offensive coordinator, and Studrawa would apparently remain as the team’s offensive line coach. His hire is another in a long line of interesting offensive coordinator hires at LSU, including Studrawa, Steve Kragthorpe (briefly, before moving down to quarterbacks coach due to an illness), and Gary Crowton. The LSU offense has succeeded almost in spite of itself over the past few years, relying on athletes to get past what many would consider questionable play-calling and strategy.
Cameron was the head coach of the Miami Dolphins in 2007, leading the team to a 1-15 record. He also served as the head coach at Indiana from 1997-2001, accumulating a 18-37 record.
