The BCS-or-whatever announced Friday morning that the Sugar and Rose bowls will host the first college football semifinal games to conclude the 2014 season, the Orange and an as-yet-unnamed bowl will wind down 2015 and the two other BCS 2.0 bowls will follow, with the annual rotation continuing onward from that point.
College football playoffs: 31 bowls free to bid, but Chick-fil-A, Cotton, Fiesta still favored
Your local bowl game has a shot, technically!

As previously known, all these bowls will also host the equivalent of BCS games when not hosting playoff games, and the title game will be bid out around the country.
It also announced the 31 bowls not yet in on the party can submit bids by March 27 to be included in all this, though everyone expects the Chick-fil-A, Cotton and Fiesta to claim the last three spots. The BCS-or-whatever requires host stadiums must seat at least 65,000.
Thus, the nation’s hopeless slew of locally beloved bowl games will dutifully turn in their registration packets, with maybe the AdvoCare thing offering free ripoffreport.com moderator accounts for all 65,000 attendees, the Liberty promising a weekend of harrowing adventure and possible Memphis death (worse than elsewhere death), the Russell Athletic making some really great tweets and winning the BCS 2.0 bid of our hearts, the Beef ‘O’ Brady mishearing the whole thing and thinking you ordered 65,000 calories (/waves single platter of Ham ‘O’ Squeezers back to kitchen), and the Belk just somehow faxing Bill Hancock this GIF:
