The Ohio State Spring Game, scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, will be notable for one peculiar reason: It will be a road game.

The Buckeyes will load up the bus and play the Spring Game at Cincinnati’s Paul Brown Stadium as part of the university’s new fundraising initiative across the state of Ohio. Paul Brown Stadium holds more than 66,000 and could be a sellout Saturday. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for children (OSU students get in for free). For those who cannot make it to Cincinnati, the game will be broadcast on BTN at 7 p.m. ET.

The Buckeyes are chock full of experienced upperclassmen on offense, with 10 projected starters listed as either juniors or seniors for 2013. Ohio State returns quarterback Braxton Miller, halfback Carlos Hyde, and four starters on the offensive line. The only significant position battle is at right tackle, where the competition rages between sophomore Taylor Decker and redshirt freshman Kyle Dodson.
The defense is another story entirely. Ohio State loses seven starters from last year's defense, including defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins. All eyes will be on sophomore Adolphus Washington, who has received more than his share of hype this spring after bulking up to 290 pounds and moving inside. Defensive end Michael Bennett is likely to take a vacant defensive end spot, but the glut of defensive line talent on the Buckeyes' roster makes prediction difficult. Urban Meyer told reporters Wednesday that Curtis Grant, who started at middle linebacker early last season, but eventually lost the position, has won his starting place back. Star cornerback Bradley Roby will not play Saturday due to a shoulder injury, but fellow corner Doran Grant will be in action.
Brutus, the Buckeyes mascot, should also watch his back.
