Wide receiver Ja-Mes Logan was the standout offensive performer at an abbreviated Grove Bowl Saturday, as the Ole Miss Rebels closed spring drills. Due to the number of injuries hampering the Rebels, coaches opted for a short scrimmage between the offense and defense, rather than dividing the team into the customary red and blue squads.

Defense dominated the day, led by ten tackles from all-SEC linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche. Defensive back Trae Elston had four tackles, three pass breakups, and half of a quarterback sack. Junior linebacker Serderius Bryant recorded an interception, 1.5 sacks, a pass breakup, and three tackles.
