West Virginia unveils new uniforms for 2013
Nike gives the Mountaineers a new look. 27 new looks, actually.

The Mountaineers will be sporting their traditional all-navy uniform combination, and an all-old gold set with navy accents is altered slightly from previous seasons. The new white uniforms with blue trim and corresponding white helmet are slick. Gone are the shoulder and side stripes from recent uniform iterations. The numbers are made to invoke a pickaxe.
West Virginia now sports three different helmets -- matte blue, matte gold, and white -- to correspond with the uniform. Obviously, the uniform combinations can be mixed -- Nike is promoting 27 different uniform combinations -- although those white helmets might not work with anything but white jerseys.
West Virginia has never been shy about alternate uniforms, sporting all-gray uniforms at times last season, as well as gray helmets and pants with gold jerseys. It’s a Dana Holgorsen team: The Mountaineers will run fast, chuck it deep, and look good while doing it.
