If there was any concern that the departure of coach Chip Kelly would slow down the Oregon offense, it was not shown in Saturday's Oregon Spring Game. Ducks quarterback Marcus Mariota completed 13 of 15 pass attempts for 169 yards and two touchdowns as the Oregon offense steamrolled the defense 65-10 before 36,588 fans at Autzen Stadium.
2013 Oregon spring game results: Ducks offense rolls to 65-10 win
Quarterback Marcus Mariota was nearly perfect in his post-Chip Kelly debut.

Wide receiver Bralon Addison caught eight passes for 136 yards. Byron Marshall, in his audition for a feature back role in next year's offense, ran six times for 60 yards and a score.
Mariota’s backups also played well. Redshirt freshman Jeff Lockie went 22-28 for 218 yards and two scores. Fellow freshman Jake Rodrigues was 13-19 for 165 yards and two touchdowns. The Ducks managed to run a staggering 117 plays in Saturday’s scrimmage against a defense depleted by injuries and exhausted after chasing the up-tempo Oregon offense through spring. Defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti summed it up best when asked if there were any positives: “That it was over.”
Oregon’s spring practice is now complete. The Ducks open the 2013 campaign against Nicholls State on Aug. 31.
