The Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, formerly known as the Insight.com Bowl, is in negotiations to form tie-ins with the Big 12 and Pac-12, according to CBSSports.com’s Jeremy Fowler. The bowl formerly was tied to the Big 12 and Big Ten, and it would seem that the Big Ten will no longer be involved with the game.

The former Insight.com Bowl is one of many bowl games with changing tie-ins going forward into the College Football Playoff.

The Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl is far from the only bowl game looking into new tie-ins. A number of tie-ins have become shuffled due to the upcoming College Football Playoff, which would remove the semifinal games from any pre-existing conference tie-ins. Specifically, the Cotton Bowl and the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, which were not previously part of the BCS slate of games, are the ones causing the shakeup.
The Big Ten especially has been active in trying to shake things up, as they will more than likely form a partnership with the Pinstripe Bowl, and is reportedly in talks with the Holiday Bowl.
