College football recruiting has taken a strange turn this year with the use of photoshops, and Wyoming has stepped up its game as well.

Is this a case of wilderness madness taking its toll on the Cowboy coaching staff? Is the condition exacerbated by altitude?
Finally, Pistol Pete, the Wyoming mascot, makes his long-awaited appearance, in which he wins the Miller Park sausage race because sure, that’s where most of the recruits are anyway:
What’s next for these madcap photoshoppers from the remote mountainous interior? I’m not sure any of us can say for sure, but I do know one thing: It may not be today, and it may not be tomorrow, but one day, Joker Phillips will take a wrong turn down an alley on a recruiting trip and be confronted with the monstrous visage of Pistol Pete, flag and pistol brandished. I just hope he’s ready.
