Oregon State Beavers head coach Mike Riley has joined the Joker Phillips Bad Photoshop Recruiting Club, tweeting out this image Thursday night:
Mike Riley goes photoshopping
Oregon State head coach joins the ridiculous Photoshop boom sparked by the Florida coaching staff, but with a touch of class.

Some really exciting stuff coming in from the recruiting trail today, love finding the diamonds in the rough! twitter.com/Coach_Riley/st…

Riley’s bucktooth diamond (“The Jewel of the Williamette,” as it were) is understated in comparison to the monstrosities recently sent out by Phillips and other Florida assistant coaches. While the simplicity of Riley’s photoshopping is certainly appreciated, his failure to place a hashtag in the post is, frankly, inexcusable. Any of the following hashtags would have cemented the inherent excellence in Riley’s tweet:
#Play4Rilez
#ComePlay4Rilez
#Play4TheOtherOSU
#Play4TheBeavers
#OSUDidntKnowYouBettaCallSomebody
#NoWeAreTheOtherOregonTeam
#YesTheOneInCorvallis
#IThinkCorvallisIsAGreatPlaceToLive
#NoIDidNotReplaceChipKelly
#IHaveBeenCoachingHereLongerThanChipKellyThankYouVeryMuch
#GoodDay
#ISAIDGOODDAYSIR
So far this offseason, Riley has managed just one verbal commitment, from quarterback Nick Mitchell. Those diamonds in the rough take time and pressure to form, of course.
