Navy football: 3 players under investigation for alleged sexual assault
The three players have not been named, but the Naval Academy is looking into claims that they sexually assaulted a female student.

No time frame was given for when this allegedly took place, and a spokesman for the Naval Academy refused to comment on the matter beyond saying that it is currently under investigation.
“Naval Academy leadership is monitoring the progress of this investigation and evaluating the appropriate options for adjudication,” Naval Academy spokesman Cmdr. John Schofield said in a statement. “It is completely inappropriate to make any other public comment on this investigation or any ongoing investigation as we risk compromising the military justice process.”
The accusations come just a week after President Obama addressed sexual assault in the military at the Naval Academy graduation. Sexual assault in the military has become an increasingly large issue in the public eye, and if true, this incident could be another black eye for the Navy and the military as a whole.
