Boise State will be without defensive end Sam Ukwuachu going forward, as the Freshman All-American has been dismissed from the team, according to the Idaho Statesman's Chadd Cripe. It's not known at this point why Ukwuachu was dismissed, but that's not the only bad news for the team, as backup quarterback Jimmy Laughrea is leaving the team as well.
Boise State football: Sam Ukwuachu dismissed from team
The Broncos lost a pair of players on Tuesday, as defensive end Sam Ukwuachu was dismissed and quarterback Jimmy Laughrea left the team.

Ukwuachu, a 6'4, 222-pound redshirt freshman, was a three-star recruit out of Texas, and was the team's third leading pass-rusher with 4.5 sacks, behind Demarcus Lawrence and Tyler Horn.
Laughrea, a 6’2, 200-pound redshirt freshman, was a three-star recruit out of California, and did not appear in a game for the Broncos last year. No reason was given for his departure, but the most reasonable answer is a transfer for a better opportunity at playing time.
