Notre Dame-Michigan highlights Big Ten’s early 2013 TV schedule

Key non-conference games between UCLA and Nebraska, Syracuse and Penn State, and five of Ohio State’s games will be on the ESPN family of networks.

Jonathan Daniel

ESPN announced Friday that an additional seven Big Ten games to be nationally broadcast, mainly coming from the early non-conference slate, including three Ohio State games and a marquee matchup between UCLA and Nebraska.

Five of Ohio State’s 12 games are included among the 17 games the network has released thus far as they try to key in on coverage of a squad expected by many to be the nation’s best. Michigan is next up with three games, while several have two.

Notable games added to the schedule in this round include the UCLA-Nebraska game, the season opener between Syracuse and Penn State at the Meadowlands, and the annual Black Friday Iowa-Nebraska matchup.
