Florida State Seminoles wide receiver Greg Dent was arrested on Sunday by Tallahassee police on a charge of sexual assault, according to the Leon County Sheriff's Office. He will be arraigned on Monday morning and bond will be set at that time.

Greg Dent will be arraigned on Monday morning after being arrested on a charge of sexual assault.


Dent was arrested under Florida Statute 794.011.5, which reads:
A person who commits sexual battery upon a person 12 years of age or older, without that person’s consent, and in the process thereof does not use physical force and violence likely to cause serious personal injury commits a felony of the second degree
School policy is to suspend any athlete who has been charged with a felony until the case has been adjudicated.
Dent had 27 catches for 355 yards as a junior in 2012 when he started four games. The 23-year-old had been expected to have a big senior season after drawing the praise of head coach Jimbo Fisher throughout the spring.
