Florida Atlantic is on the move to the C-USA from the Sun Belt and they’re pretty excited about it. Namely, they made a semi-palatable looking cake, but they also revealed new uniforms that are much more owl-centric than their previous duds.

FAU has a new conference today, and they also have a new set of uniforms.

The first thing you’ll notice is wings on the side of the uniforms.

I'm sure the people at Nike are thrilled that an Adidas school has cribbed one of the signatures of the jersey of their most prominently-uniformed school.
This new helmet is in addition to the host of new helmets unveiled by the school at their spring game. Definitely an addition on the relatively boring ones with the “FAU” logo the school used to boast. As you might be able to tell from the way the player, senior defensive back Keith Reaser, is holding his hands, there’s something on the gloves:

Yes, it's another owl. HOOT.
The person most excited about Monday’s proceedings? Of course, FAU football person emeritus and the greatest man in the history of Western civilization, Howard Schnellenberger:
