Florida State won the ACC Championship last year, and to commemorate it, they gave out rings to their players, including offensive lineman -- now Oakland Raiders second-round draft pick -- Menelik Watson. Only one problem:
Whoever designed Florida State’s ACC Championship ring made a big mistake
Congrats to Florida State on their 2012 SEC Championship! Wait, what?

Just got my Championship rings. Apparently I'm the only player in #Fsu history to win an SEC Championship! #Legendary pic.twitter.com/MCWmLYyKHi

Great googly moogly.
That’s right, y’all. ANOTHER CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE NO. 1 CONFERENCE IN THE WORLD! S-E-C! S-E-C! S-E-C!
FSU is, of course, in the ACC, and thanks to a grant of rights agreement, won’t be going anywhere for a long time, so get your greedy hands off. They almost did join the SEC in 1991, but picked the ACC instead, and the SEC had to settle for Arkansas and South Carolina.
(Update: Florida State has said that the ring was a one-off accident, and that Watson will be getting a correct version.)
