2013 SEC football Vegas win totals: 3-way tie behind Alabama

It’s no surprise, but Alabama is picked to win the most games of any SEC team in 2013.

USA TODAY Sports

The Alabama Crimson Tide's over/under for regular-season wins in 2013 is set at 11, according to Las Vegas insider and ESPN Radio host RJ Bell. Bell picked over/under totals for every SEC team.

Bell expects the Crimson Tide to lead all SEC teams in wins en route to claiming 11 victories for the third straight season. Right behind the Crimson Tide in Bell’s prognosis are Georgia, Texas A&M and South Carolina at 10 wins apiece.

While picking Alabama to have the most wins isn’t much of a surprise, neither is tabbing Kentucky to bring up the rear with just four victories in 2013.

For those interested in placing a friendly wager -- just for bragging rights, of course! -- on SEC win totals, Bell’s picks differ slightly from the over/under lines set by sportsbook 5Dimes last month. Bell’s over/under is lower than 5Dimes for six of the conference’s 14 teams, and it’s higher for six others.

School 5Dimes' over/under Bell's over/under
Alabama 11.5 11
Arkansas 5.5 5.5
Auburn 6.5 6
Florida 9.5 9
Georgia 9.5 10
Kentucky 3.5 4
LSU 9.5 9
Mississippi State 5.5 5
Missouri 5.5 6
Ole Miss 8.5 8
South Carolina 9.5 10
Tennessee 5.5 6
Texas A&M 9.5 10
Vanderbilt 7.5 7.5
