Georgia kicker arrested for boating under the influence
Marshall Morgan, a minor, got pulled in for driving a boat under the influence.

Georgia law states that minors can be charged with BUI if they register a .02 blood-alcohol content. Morgan, who is 19, refused the state test, but the presence of alcohol on his breath was enough for the officer to make the arrest. Georgia Department of Natural Resources officers were first alerted to an issue after a helicopter spotted the boat towing two inner tubes without a spotter, another violation of Georgia law.
Driving under the influence is a serious issue, and thankfully no one was hurt. However, this fits fairly well into Georgia’s long-running portfolio of players getting arrested for silly things. Morgan doesn’t beat out John Atkins for the most Georgia arrest of 2013, though, after Atkins was pulled over for driving with a learner’s permit. It may be a long time before we see something like Jordan Love’s 2010 arrest, which was for failing to disclose his middle name to a police officer.
