Onwuasor was allegedly charged with possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony drug offense and possession of narcotics paraphernalia, per Daniel Berk of the Arizona Daily Star.

Onwuasor was reportedly arrested after police officers executed a search warrant at his Tuscon apartment. The warrant was obtained after an investigation into a home invasion in Beverly Hills, Calif. Tuscon police sergeant Maria Hawke said Onwuasor was not implicated in the Beverly Hills break-in. During the search of his home, officers found narcotic drugs and paraphernalia, marijuana and a gun.

As a freshman in 2012, Onwuasor played in all 13 games for the Wildcats. He recorded 36 tackles, one pass breakup and one-half tackle for loss. During Arizona’s spring game in April, he recorded three tackles.
