2014 SEC football schedule here, including out-of-conference games

The 2014 SEC football schedule was released on Wednesday, and as expected, it’s a continuation of the 6-1-1 schedule format the conference has been using.

Here’s the full schedule -- apologies for the inconsistent formatting, as the conference’s official release doesn’t include conference games, so we’ve compiled individual school schedules. Texas A&M is the only school yet to release its full schedule.

One of the biggest changes is that LSU and Texas A&M will begin playing on Thanksgiving, as SB Nation’s Steven Godfrey reported in 2012. The Aggies previously played their in-state rivals Texas on Thanksgiving, but that rivalry series is on ice for the time being, since A&M jumped to the SEC in 2012.

The Aggies will also face their permanent cross-division rival, South Carolina, in a season-opening Thursday night game, continuing the Gamecocks’ recent tradition of playing on the season’s first day.

Commissioner Mike Slive said that the conference would look into a nine-game schedule, but that it wouldn’t be implemented until 2016 at the earliest. However, the SEC will debut its new network in time for the 2014 season, and it’s set to air that A&M-South Carolina opener.
