After a jam-packed Thursday night, college football fans are going to have to settle for a quieter affair on Friday, although there are still good matchups.
2013 college football schedule: Game times, TV coverage for Friday’s Week 1 games
We tell you which games to watch on the Friday college football slate and where you can find them.

7 p.m. ET
Morgan State @ Army - CBS Sports Network
Samford @ Georgia State - ESPN3.com
Which to watch: Samford @ Georgia State. Samford is the only one of these four schools that had a winning record last year, and Georgia State needs your support in its final transitional year to the FBS.
8 p.m. ET
Florida Atlantic @ Miami - ESPNU
Western Michigan @ Michigan State - Big Ten Network
Texas Tech @ SMU - ESPN
Which to watch: Texas Tech @ SMU. All three are good options, with in-state rivalries and promising big conference programs, but the chance to see Kliff Kingsbury and June Jones try and out-offense each other is one that should never be taken lightly.
8:30 p.m. ET
Southern @ Houston - ESPN3.com
North Dakota State @ Kansas State - Fox Sports 1
Which to watch: North Dakota State @ Kansas State. Hopefully you haven’t bailed on the offensive showdown in Dallas by this point, but the Bison are two-time defending FCS champions and could give the Wildcats a hard time. In an unrelated story, Case Keenum’s name popped up on the bottom line last night as “HOU: Keenum 9/13, 128 yards, one touchdown” and I, without hesitation, completely believed he was still somehow a Houston Cougar.
10:00 p.m. ET
Northern Arizona @ Arizona - Pac-12 Network
Which to watch: Northern Arizona lost 63-6 in their opener last year to Arizona State, but followed that up with a win over UNLV and won seven of their nine FCS games. The Wildcats are entering Year Two under Rich Rodriguez, and will likely try and top the 63-point Sun Devil output.
