The University of Florida has confirmed wide receiver Andre Debose tore his ACL in practice and will miss the entire 2013 season. The news was originally reported by GatorCountry.com. Offensive coordinator Brent Pease said that Debose "tweaked" his knee during practice on Tuesday, but the injury was revealed to be much worse once he was examined on Wednesday.
Andre Debose injury: Florida starter lost for 2013
The Gators offense lost one of their most talented playmakers after Andre Debose tore his ACL.

Debose, a redshirt senior, can apply for a medical hardship waiver to get a sixth year of eligibility. Since he didn’t play in any games yet this season, this looks like exactly the kind of situation the waiver is intended for. However, as with all things NCAA, it’s difficult to predict anything with full certainty.
Debose came out of high school as a highly regarded recruit, but outside of flashes, hasn’t lived up to expectations. Some of that can be attributed to Florida’s offense since the departure of Urban Meyer, which has gone from from explosive to slow and plodding:
Debose only had 24 total yards rushing and receiving in '12. However, he had 510 KOR and 93 PR yards

No one can figure out what he might have done this year, but based on last year, Debose's presence will be missed most on ST
