Week two of College GameDay has been announced: the ESPN crew will travel to Ann Arbor for Saturday’s game between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Michigan Wolverines.
College GameDay, Week 2, set for Notre Dame-Michigan in Ann Arbor
College GameDay will travel to the University of Michigan as the Wolverines host the Irish.


It will be the eleventh time the Wolverines have hosted the program, going 8-2 in the past. The last time College GameDay was in Ann Arbor was 2011 -- for the very same matchup in the very same week. The Wolverines emerged with a 35-31 victory thanks to four total touchdowns from Denard Robinson.
It will be Michigan’s 23rd time playing on College GameDay and Notre Dame’s 24th appearance on the program. The Irish have hosted eight times.The Wolverines are 13-9 all-time on College Gameday while the Irish are 11-12.
Michigan leads the all-time series between the two schools 23-16-1.
The No. 14 Irish won their season opener against Temple, defeating the Owls 28-6 thanks to three Tommy Rees touchdown passes. The No. 17 Michigan trounced Central Michigan in their opener, winning 59-9 with six rushing touchdowns.
