    While TCU hasn’t handed the ball to a running back since the second play of the second quarter, Boykin’s scrambling has been largely ineffective: 10 carries, 42 yards. On a 3rd and 5 early in the second quarter, Boykin scrambled, then opted to slide two yards short of the first down marker despite a clear opportunity to pick up the first down.

    A bit of trivia if you’re befuddled by this: When Bradshaw came to Tech in the late ‘60s, he was the second-string quarterback behind ... Phil Robertson. True story. Robertson was less beardy back then.
