Boise State rolls past Air Force, 42-20

Brian Losness-USA TODAY SportsThe Boise State Broncos were challenged by Air Force on Friday night before picking up a 42-20 win.
The Broncos went into halftime with just a 21-17 lead after an unimpressive first 30 minutes of play. They were unable to stop the Falcons on a handful of lengthy drives, and they even trailed at one point late in the second quarter. Head coach Chris Petersen and BSU made plenty of adjustments at halftime and rolled in the second half, dominating Air Force on both sides of the ball.

Boise State received a handful of votes in the latest AP and Coaches polls, though they are nowhere near the top 25 again after being blown out by Washington in the season opener. The last time these two schools met was 2011, with then-No. 5 Boise State coming out with a 37-26 win.
