I’m not glad that compliance offices exist: they’re staffs of people employed by universities to ensure athletes don’t render themselves ineligible by taking or making money, which seems like a rather complex workaround to giving college athletes money.
Maryland’s compliance department enters the running for best compliance department
The Terps are helping NCAA athletes remember how to stay eligible, via meme.

But since compliance offices do exist, we will continue to salute the field’s superstars.
We have already shown you the works of Texas A&M Compliance, the extremely hard workers in charge of making sure Johnny Football is, in fact, eligible. Now it is time to introduce you to Maryland Compliance.
We most recently heard from Maryland compliance with regards to their interpretation of an NCAA rule that prevented them from giving athletes game balls, out of fear the NCAA might see the rewards as gifts that could cause the athletes to become ineligible.
Somewhere along the line, the NCAA informed them that it was perfectly acceptable to give athletes game balls. This was their response:

Yes, @TerpsCompliance cuts through the jargon of the NCAA's rulebook and brings you memes about what athletes are able to do. They go out of their way to make sure the memes are intensely accurate:

It seems the main idea is to remind athletes to do the tedious things they have to do to stay compliant in a fun manner, you know, so they actually remember it:
