Update 2: Will Muschamp said on CBS that his original starting quarterback is done for the year. Tyler Murphy will keep the job.
Jeff Driskel will miss the rest of Florida’s season after ankle injury vs. Tennessee
Driskel is out for the rest of the season after hurting his ankle in the first quarter.
UPDATE: Driskel is indeed done for the day, Will Muschamp tells CBS.
Florida Gators quarterback Jeff Driskel left the Gators' game against Tennessee with an apparent ankle injury. Driskel asked for the trainers after he was hit low on a play that ended up being a pick-six for Tennessee.

He ended up leaving the field on crutches and it doesn’t appear likely that he’ll return. Florida has yet to reveal any information about Driskel’s status.
This is horrible news for the Gators as their offense was struggling enough with Driskel. Without him, they'll have to rely on Tyler Murphy, a redshirt junior who has yet to take a snap this season and has never attempted a pass for the Gators in his career. The offense will have to lean heavily on Mack Brown and the rushing attack, even more than they were already planning in doing.
