The Baylor Bears absolutely destroyed the ULM Warhawks on Saturday, 70-7, in a game where they coasted with their backups for much of the second half.
Louisiana-Monroe vs. Baylor final score: Bears atomize the Warhawks, 70-7
The Bears are averaging 70 points per game after three games. 70.

The blowout got underway right at the start, with the Bears going up 35-0 after the first quarter. Bryce Petty threw two touchdown passes in the first quarter alone and rushed for another. Joe Williams and Terrell Burt each took a Kolton Browning interception to the house. Petty threw another two touchdowns in the second quarter, and the Bears took a 49-7 lead into halftime.
The second half would feature much of the same, and quickly. Lache Seastrunk popped off a 75 yard touchdown run less than 30 seconds into the half, and at that point, the second string took over, but not without adding another 14 points.
All told, Baylor racked up 781 yards of total offense on 77 plays, which computes to an absurd average of 10.1 yards per play. Lache Seastrunk entered the game averaging over nine yards per carry, and his 10 carry, 156 yard performance will make that average go up. Antwan Goodley and Tevin Reese both went over 100 yards receiving, and four different receivers caught touchdown passes.
Box Score Hero:
Bryce Petty was ridiculous, going 18-27 for 351 yards and four touchdowns while tacking on another touchdown rushing in approximately 35 minutes of action.
Rankings Ramifications:
The Bears will jump up a couple spots in the rankings after another win. ULM will stay unranked.
But Did They Cover?
Baylor was a 30.5 point favorite at kickoff, so they covered the spread.
