The sophomore was ejected for his hit in the fourth quarter, which seems like it was a pretty good call.

The play was reviewed, and the penalty and ejection were upheld. That seems like the right call, as Poole led with his head and used it as the primary point of contact with the Tennessee receiver’s head. There have been some poor targeting calls so far this season, but this is not one of them.
