Cincinnati suffered the tragic death of one of its young football players this past week, as offensive lineman Ben Flick died in a car accident with three of his teammates injured. They’re off this weekend, but WMU will play with the Bearcats on their minds: they’ll put a Cincinnati logo on their helmet for their MAC game against Kent State.

A nice gesture after an awful tragedy.

Some things are bigger than football, and gestures like this remind us of that.
Sadly, this isn’t the first gesture of its type in the young college football season. Thoughts and prayers with the Cincinnati football family.
