3 things to know about Dominique Easley, Florida’s star DT
Here’s what you need to know about Dominique Easley, Florida’s dancing defensive tackle and automatic quote machine.

Easley turned down a shot at early NFL eligibility to come back to Florida for his senior season, and he should make the most of that opportunity. Nothing about his size jumps off the page -- he’s listed at 6’2 and 283 pounds -- but he has crazy athleticism and can wreak havoc on the running game on the inside. He was SBNation’s third-team All-American DT coming into the season, and he’s already one sack closer to realizing that potential this year.
2. Easley likes to dance
It’s not often that a potential All-American might be more entertaining off the field than on, but Easley is getting there.
To be fair, people who just like to dance are inherently more trustworthy. It takes a lot of honesty to just let it out with a groove whenever and wherever you want. Seriously! Liars are too busy conniving to just dance.
3. Seriously, he’s sort of crazypants
We’re not done with Easley exploits by damn sight. He told reporters that he didn’t listen to Kirk Herbstreit’s prediction of a Toledo win at Florida (Gators won 24-7, for what it’s worth) because Herbstreit “probably never played football.” Herbstreit, of course, was a quarterback at Ohio State from 1989 to 1993.
But even that pales in comparison to when Easley was asked about Bear Bryant at SEC Media Days this July.
Not a joke: Dominique Easley was asked a question about Bear Bryant & didn't recognize the name. He asked if it was some kind of cartoon.
