This may shock you, but a game between Florida and Miami is marked with questionable decisions. Florida committed a late hit on its first drive, then helped a Miami touchdown drive stay alive when star DT Dominique Easley roughed Miami QB Stephen Morris. Florida did block a Miami punt shortly thereafter, and a Jeff Driskel TD shortly thereafter gave Florida the chance to tie the game.

Florida can tie the game in the first quarter, but Will Muschamp has a different idea.
Florida saw that chance and said “nay; we demand more.” Annnnnnd whoops:
This isn’t a particularly inventive two-point conversion formation or attempt; it’s in pretty much everyone’s playbook, and it’s primarily designed to catch opposing defenses off-guard. But Miami clearly knew what was up, so Florida would have been better served just shifting into the traditional PAT formation, like just about anyone else would have done.
Perhaps the Gators were just trying to let Urban Meyer know that they didn’t miss him, and that anything he could do (twice) they could do better. Perhaps.
The score stayed in Miami’s favor, 7-6, and the Hurricanes have since extended the lead on a gorgeous 52-yard touchdown pass by Morris. So it goes.
