How to watch Ole Miss vs. Texas A&M: Game guide, TV schedule, streaming, odds
Can the Aggies bounce back against the other Mississippi powerhouse?
Ole Miss has never beaten Texas A&M. Not once.
The two teams have played six times since 1911, with the Aggies emerging victorious on each and every occasion. If there was ever a chance for the Rebels to right that ship, it’s Saturday, but they’ll be faced with a difficult road challenge at Kyle Field.
Ole Miss is fresh off a historic 23-17 home victory over Alabama, one which catapulted the Rebels up into the top five of the polls. This will likely be the only time they have to face back-to-back ranked opponents in the regular season (unless LSU finds its way back into the polls before Oct. 25), and the Rebels have a chance to prove themselves as legitimate contenders by taking down a second top SEC contender.
The Aggies had also started the season 5-0, with wins over South Carolina and Arkansas standing as by far their most impressive victories. Kevin Sumlin’s squad came back to earth significantly last week, when Mississippi State dispatched A&M in a 48-31 defeat. The Aggies have a boatload of talent, especially on offense (although that unit struggled last week), but their defensive problems have gotten them in trouble in the past, as well.

Two things at stake
Surviving here for Ole Miss, with games against Tennessee and LSU around the corner, could carry them to 8-0 before their huge matchup against Auburn.
Texas A&M needs to get back on the right side of things to avoid their season falling apart.
One big matchup
Texas A&M passing offense vs. Ole Miss passing defense. While his stock may have taken a severe hit after last week, the Aggies still have a Heisman contender at quarterback in Kenny Hill, and for good reason. The sophomore has thrown for 21 touchdowns already against just five interceptions, averaging 8.7 yards per attempt. He's aided in large part by one of the deepest and most talented wide receiving units in the country, led by Josh Reynolds (402 yards, seven touchdowns), Malcolme Kennedy (378 yards, two touchdowns) and Edward Pope (20.5 yards per catch, four touchdowns).
Ole Miss, meanwhile, has made its name stopping the pass this season, holding opponents to to 4.6 yards per attempt. The Rebels have intercepted 10 passes against just one passing touchdown allowed this year, led by Senquez Golson's four picks. There is one problem -- they'll be without safety Trae Elston for the first half after a suspension.
