The Arkansas Razorbacks will try to get back to the .500 mark this week when they host the UAB Blazers. Sitting at 3-4 overall, the Razorbacks have improved significantly since 2013, Bret Bielema's first season as the head coach of the Hogs. With a win over UAB, Arkansas will surpass its 2013 win total.
How to watch UAB vs. Arkansas: Game guide, TV schedule, streaming, odds
Taking a break from SEC play, the Arkansa Razorbacks host the UAB Blazers.

As for the 4-3 Blazers, they’ll try to stay above the .500 mark with an upset at Arkansas. The Blazers have already played one SEC team this year when they faced No. 1 Mississippi State. That was a game in which the Bulldogs led only 26-20 at halftime, but won by a 47-34 margin.
If the Blazers are capable of giving the nation’s No. 1 team issues, surely they can give Arkansas a run for their money as well, and potentially pull off the upset if the Hogs overlook them.

The numbers
Vegas: The Razorbacks are favored by 27.5 points at home with an over/under of 66, according to OddsShark.
Weather forecast: 64 degrees with clear skies.
Two things at stake
The Razorbacks can’t afford to lose this game if they want to make it to a bowl game. With four more games against SEC foes, three of which are ranked, the Hogs are already fighting for their postseason lives. A loss to the lowly Blazers would put those hopes on life support.
Arkansas would be taking a huge step backward if it were to lose at home to a Conference USA team like UAB.
One big matchup
Arkansas run offense vs. UAB run defense: The Hogs rank 18th in the nation at 256.9 rushing yards per game. The Blazers rank 71st in run defense, allowing 233.7 yards per game. This is the matchup that will likely decide the game, and it’s a big reason why Arkansas is such a heavy favorite.
