How to watch Washington vs. Arizona: Game guide, TV/streaming, odds

Can Arizona win the easiest of its last three games?

The team getting most attention in the state of Arizona is Arizona State, and rightfully so, as the Sun Devils are in contention for the College Football Playoff. But the University of Arizona is in pretty good shape as well, making this quite a year of football in the state.

If the Wildcats are going to compete for the Pac-12 South title, they're going to have to win out. But still, that they're in position to do so is a testament to Rich Rodriguez, whose team owns a win over Oregon and close losses to UCLA and USC behind the impressive play of freshman quarterback Anu Solomon. Now the real fun begins, with games against Washington, Utah and Arizona State to close the season.

The Huskies have been a mixed bag this year. They blew out Cal but haven’t beaten any of the top teams in the Pac-12 in Chris Petersen’s first season. Beating Arizona would be their first marquee win of the year and would set them up for a solid finish, with Oregon State and Washington State still on the schedule.

How to watch, listen, and stream

Game time: 3:30 p.m. ET

TV: FOX

Radio: Arizona IMG Sports Network, Washington IMG Sports Network

Online streaming: Fox Sports Go

The numbers

Rankings and records: Arizona is 7-2 and ranked 14th by the College Football Playoff selection committee. Washington is 6-4 and unranked.

Vegas: Arizona is a 9-point favorite. The line is now 9.5 with an over/under of 59, per OddsShark.

Weather forecast: Partly cloudy with a high of 77 and a low of 54.

Two things at stake

Arizona needs to win this game to stay in contention for the Pac-12 South title and a top New Year’s Day bowl.

This game can springboard Washington to a nice finish.

One big matchup

Arizona offense vs. Washington defense: Washington’s defense has been up and down this year. The Huskies did a good job containing Cal, Stanford and Arizona State, but UCLA, Oregon and even Eastern Washington torched them. Now they need to hope that Anu Solomon and the Wildcats don’t do the same. If Arizona can get rolling, then Washington will be in trouble. But if the Huskies can get to the Wildcats’ offense, then they might be able to pull the upset.
