After losing 8 blowouts, SMU lost on a last-second TD

SMU started 0-8, with eight violently bad losses. It looked like the Mustangs might win today... and then everything went wrong. Poor SMU.

SMU is the worst team in college football this year. The Mustangs entered this week having scored the fewest points and allowed the most points in college football. After seven games, they had scored 49 points on the season and allowed an average of 48 per game. They are very, very, very bad.

Saturday, it looked like the Mustangs might actually win. They led South Florida 13-0 entering the fourth quarter. South Florida scored one touchdown with eight minutes to go... and then...

That play, a Mike White pass to Andre Davis, gave South Florida the lead with four seconds left.

After a season filled with huge losses, SMU now has a close one. Those poor, poor ponies.
