[STATE COLLEGE POLICE SCANNER]
Penn State is bowl eligible, so James Franklin tackled someone
So *that’s* why the Nittany Lions tackle so well.
RESIDENTS BE ADVISED, JAMES FRANKLIN IS LOOSE.
I REPEAT, JAMES FRANKLIN IS ON THE LOOSE AND TACKLING RANDOM PEOPLE.
HE’S RUNNING AROUND, SHOUTING ‘WE RUN THIS STATE’ AND ‘BRING IT, PITT.’
THEY BEAT TEMPLE. I REPEAT, PENN STATE HAS DEFEATED MIGHTY TEMPLE.
Is James Franklin excited Penn State is now bowl eligible? Maybe a little too excited, he's tackling people pic.twitter.com/aTO4a1nYCt
— Lee Cary (@leecary623) November 15, 2014 Jokes aside, this is a pretty big deal for Penn State. They’re still playing with a severely-limited roster after scholarship sanctions, and to make a bowl game under those circumstances with a Big Ten schedule is no small feat. The Nittany Lions would have been bowl eligible in each of their last two seasons were it not for NCAA sanctions, so this will be their first postseason appearance since the 2012 TicketCity Bowl.
