The Oregon State Beavers are still fighting to become bowl eligible, and the Washington Huskies just want to get the bad taste of last week's loss to Arizona out of their mouths. The Huskies actually held a two-point lead at Arizona with under two minutes to play and were trying to run out the clock, but decided to hand the ball to running back Deontae Cooper rather than take a knee.

Cooper fumbled the ball and Arizona recovered at the Washington 45 with 1:23 to go. Arizona drover deeper into Huskies territory, and Casey Skowron kicked a 47-yard field goal as time expired to lift Arizona to a 27-26 victory. Needless to say, it was one of the more excruciating ways to lose a game.
Will the Huskies be trying to rebound this week, or will they come out flat and lose a game they should win? The Beavers hope it’s the latter. They’ve struggled mightily on the road this year, and their only two wins away from Corvallis were over Hawaii and Colorado, who are a combined 5-16 entering Week 13.
The Beavers are led by one of the better signal-callers in college football in Sean Mannion, who has 13,124 passing yards and 80 touchdowns in his four-year career. He'll be going against a Washington defense that ranks 112th against the pass, so he could be in for a big day as he tries to propel the Beavers to bowl eligibility.

One big matchup
Oregon State offense vs. Washington defense: Washington’s defense has been up and down this year. The Huskies did a good job containing Cal, Stanford, Arizona State and Arizona, but UCLA, Oregon and even Eastern Washington sliced and diced the Huskies defense.
Now they need to hope to contain Sean Mannion. If Mannion can get going, then Washington will be in trouble. But if the Huskies can get pressure Mannion and keep him from finding his groove, they should be able to win their home finale.
